Let's start blogging! :)

Hy there, I’m Lisa and I’m 19 years old. I guess that’s how most introductions start and of course I could continue to tell you about how I was raised in a small Styrian town, that I grew up as an only child but next to my cousin who is like a sister to me, that I’ve just started studying TKK (English and Russian) in Graz or that I love to travel.
However, you’d probably rather hear something more „interesting“ about me – and that’s what I’m thinking about since I’ve got to know that we are supposed to set up a blog for our English class.

I’ve never been a big storyteller or extremely talkative, usually I’m rather the attentive type of person, who listens to her friends and tries to give them advice and help them solve their problems.
That’s why I was a little worried about setting up a blog and just randomly telling the world about my thoughts. I also wondered if I would find enough topics to write on. And don’t get me wrong -  as this is only my first post I’m still a little concerned about those things – but the reason why I’m using the past tense in the sentences above is that I came to the conclusion that I should give it a try. In the last few days actually a lot of topics flashed through my mind (issues I am interested in, unfinished thoughts or memorable stories I have heard of and I would like to put into words...).

I’m not sure if it’s gonna work out the way I plan it to, but I’m going to give my best. Actually, I’ve already warmed to the idea of blogging. So, I hope it’s gonna be as much fun as I expect it to :)
